duck! radio is an online broadcasting project based in Tandanya/Adelaide. We platform local and global voices with a focus on expressing and sharing in music for the joy of each other. 

We launched in 2023, nestled in the corner of our favourite local community hub the Adelaide Bike Kitchen (ABK) in Bowden. Gratefully nurtured there for 3 years, in 2026 we relocated due to the immanent eviction of ABK from their home of 12 years. Friends and supporters of duck! radio welcomed us to make a new home at the beautiful Oceanic Creative Studios in Thebarton.

Every Sunday we broadcast live from 8am-10pm, either from Oceanic or by popping-up at venues, spaces and events across our community network. Our hope is to embody the gift of the everyday duck, who has the tenacious curiosity to dip her toes in all sorts of ponds, each time effortlessly inoculating one with a taste of others. As the duck heralds new waters, the flock grows an appreciation for difference and cultivates an imagination of otherness. We aim to build connection this way, with music to soften our walls we want to foster a culture and praxis of expression, experimentation and collaboration in Tandanya creatively and politically.  

We aim to be representative of the diversity of interests and passions that exist, and to elevate particularly those which are less present in the dominant culture of our place. Broadcasts will be varied and unconstrained, presenters are encouraged emphatically to unleash and invite whichever musical flavours they feel moved by.
